Kickout are Liverpool's favourite Indie Rock / Pop wedding band for hire. Performing all of your favourite dance floor fillers, from the likes of Buddy Holly and The Beatles, Kickout guarantee to make your wedding party one to remember!

Kickout are a very experienced live band and regularly entertain at weddings in Liverpool and surrounding areas. The band come fully self-contained with professional PA, lighting and a bespoke pre-mixed disco before and after live sets - so your whole night of entertainment is sorted in just one booking! On top of that, the band will even perform your choice of first dance!

If you're looking to extend the live music to cover your ceremony or drinks reception, Kickout offer a live lounge style acoustic set which can create the perfect atmosphere for the early part of the day.

Well my feet have just about touched the ground after our wedding last week and I wanted to send you and email to say just how much me, Pete and literally everyone at the wedding enjoyed Kickout. Not only were they highly professional and had arrived, set up, sound checked in good time - they even managed to get us to cut the cake on time, which considering how tipsy and excitable we were by 8pm was no mean feet - but the sound they produced, oh man the sound! They were literally one of the best bands I have ever heard live and I spent half of the first set thinking ‘are these guys really our wedding band??’ Right from the first dance they were exceptional. Having asked three guitarists and a drummer to play a song - Walk of Life - where the original has a big organ/synth sound, I wasn’t sure how it would work, but oh my, they absolutely nailed it! I feel bad saying it was better than the original, but it really was that brilliant! You could hear this ripple of murmuring move across the dance floor as people realised how good they were. ‘God, the band are good aren’t they?’ ‘Wow have you heard the band?’ ‘Where did you find them?’ They managed to keep the momentum going right through both of their sets and the dance floor was packed throughout with all ages. I definitely at one point saw both my 13 month old nephew and 78 year old Auntie having a good boogie! We were really impressed with the quality of their musicianship. Daniel’s vocals and guitar playing were something else (I could see my brother having ‘guitar envy’ as he looked on wistfully!) Individually with Andrew on the drums and then base and electric guitar, whenever they took solos there was lots of whooping and cheering at the skill and sound, but then together they gelled so well and produced a lovely rich, warm sound which had us all dancing away. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding reception so much fun. We hope that they enjoyed themselves and we’d like to apologise for the slightly over enthusiastic dancing that saw some of our guests getting a bit too close to their speakers at one point… I’ve attached a pic of them and I don’t know whether it’s of any use to you, but one of our friends filmed the first dance on his phone. If you excuse our ‘dancing’ at the start, it shows everyone filling the dance floor and just how good the guys sounded. Kickout performed at our wedding at the beginning of May and I couldn't rate them any higher, they were just amazing. From the moment they started their set they had the dancefloor full, and I didn't leave the floor myself. We only listed the minimum number of songs from the list that we needed to choose from as we wanted the band to play based on their experience and it was totally the right choice. Every song they played was a hit with all of the guests, young and old. The entire band were really approachable and friendly when we spoke with them and all of the guests were disappointed when they finished their set, I think they may have played a little extra for us as we were all enjoying it so much. How long do you take to set-up?
60 minutes.

What time do you play?
Any time to suit you, standard prices are for 2 hours of live music, anytime between 7pm and midnight.

How long do you play for?
We can perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets in the evening and also provide a pre-mixed disco (tailored to your tastes) before and after live sets, so your whole night of entertainment is covered in one booking. We can also perform 1 x 60 miniute acoustic live lounge style set as an add-on, which is perfect for during drinks or dinner.

Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes – all included in the price.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes.

Will you perform our first dance?
Yes, as long as we have two weeks notice we will learn the first dance of your choice.

How much space do you require?
We have played in some very small spaces, but ideally a minimum of around 2.5m x 5m.

How much power do you require?
2 x 13 amp sockets is fine for our system.

Do I need to provide food/drinks?
Ideally soft drinks and a hot meal or buffet. But this is certainly not a deal breaker so if you can’t provide this, just let us know in advance and we’ll bring food & drink with us.
