The Thamesmen are London's favourite Pop / Rock Cover wedding band for hire. Performing all of your favourite dance floor fillers, from the likes of The Who and The Animals, The Thamesmen guarantee to make your wedding party one to remember!

The Thamesmen are a very experienced live band and regularly entertain at weddings in London and surrounding areas. The band come fully self-contained with professional PA, lighting and a bespoke pre-mixed disco before and after live sets - so your whole night of entertainment is sorted in just one booking! On top of that, the band will even perform your choice of first dance!

If you're looking to extend the live music to cover your ceremony or drinks reception, The Thamesmen offer a live lounge style acoustic set which can create the perfect atmosphere for the early part of the day.

As standard The Thamesmen provide:

• A professional four-piece band with male lead vocals and stunning harmonies
• Two hours of floor-filling live music (2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets)
• A fantastic, crowd-rousing set list spanning 50 years of pop music

The band were FANTASTIC! They exceeded all expectations, they kept everyone on the dance floor all night and even the venue staff were telling us how impressed they were by them as usually people start to disappear throughout the night but the floor never emptied! Tailored Entertainment are an incredible service, they are super attentive, keep in touch regularly and throughout the booking process. If I ever want to book a band again, I will be going straight to Chloe who assisted us through most of the booking process. How long do you take to set-up?
90 minutes.

What time do you play?
Any time to suit you, standard prices are for 2 hours of live music, anytime between 7pm and midnight.

How long do you play for?
We can perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets in the evening and also provide a pre-mixed disco (tailored to your tastes) before and after live sets, so your whole night of entertainment is covered in one booking. We can also perform 1 x 60 miniute acoustic duo live lounge style set as an add-on, which is perfect for during drinks or dinner.

Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes – all included in the price.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes.

Will you perform our first dance?
Yes, as long as we have two weeks notice we will learn the first dance of your choice.

How much space do you require?
We have played in some very small spaces, but ideally a minimum of around 2.5m x 5m.

How much power do you require?
2 x 13 amp sockets is fine for our system.

Do I need to provide food/drinks?
Ideally soft drinks and a hot meal or buffet. But this is certainly not a deal breaker so if you can’t provide this, just let us know in advance and we’ll bring food & drink with us.
