Testimonials

The band were fantastic ! In fact I have had so many people ask for your details. I am sure you will get a lot of calls after this event. People enjoyed themselves so much that they wanted the music to go on all night ! The only ‘complaint’ I got was that the music wasn’t enough !! People did not realise the time that you played as they enjoyed it so much !! Thank you so much for everything – I am hoping to make this an annual event so I hope we can work together again 🙂 Thank you to you and the whole troop ! You were all fantastic !Saloni - Charity event, Harrow, February 2017

Simply couldn’t have asked for a better band to help our guests celebrate our wedding. The dance floor was packed from start to finish. Wish I could get married again just for the party!Julia Pritchett - Wedding, Buckinghamshire, 2016

You will not be disappointed, book The Rhythm now!Greg Paulson - Private Party, Oxfordshire, 2016

I booked The Rhythm on the strength of their promo videos. By the end of the night I was completely blown away! They delivered so much more than I was expecting, and I was expecting a lot!Beth Louis - Wedding, Hertfordshire, 2016

FAQ

HOW LONG DO YOU PERFORM?

Our standard is 2 x 1 hour sets, although if you would rather have longer, just let us know when you book.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

We calculate our prices on a case by case basis. As such we can’t put a specific price on the website. Please get in touch and we’ll gladly give you a quote.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO SET UP?

We bring a full production with sound and lights, plus engineer(s), to each event. As such, it usually takes us at least 2 hours to set up and make sure everything is working perfectly. For safety reasons we require that the setup is in an empty room with no guests present. If your performance room is the same room the meal is in, we may need to set up before the meal starts. Let us know on the booking form.

WHAT ARE YOUR STANDARD LOAD IN AND OUT TIMES?

Our prices are based on a load in of 5pm, and 2 hours of music between 7pm and midnight. DJ playlist stops at midnight and we load our equipment out then. We can arrive earlier / leave later / provide longer sets / provide longer DJ playlist if needed. All details can be discussed when you book.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO SET UP?

A performance area and some power, that’s it! To be slightly more specific:
We need a performance area that’s physically big enough for 7 to 11 musicians plus instruments. This is typically at least 6m by 3m. We have been known to fit in to less, but it can get tight. If you’re unsure let us know what the venue is when you book (we may well have already played there and will know the space, but if not it allows us to do our own research).

We bring our own sound, lights and engineer(s), depending on the size of the band and venue. We will happily bring any other technical equipment you want (such as staging or extra lighting etc), again just let us know what you’re after in the booking process.

We require access to power sockets near the performance area. Obviously the more there are the better, but all of our equipment is modern and draws relatively low currents, so we can usually make the event work even if only a couple of sockets are available.

Please allow at least 2 to 2.5 hours setup time in your event schedule. This needs to be in an empty room for safety reasons. If you have requested extra technical equipment our setup will be longer. We will be able to advise you on any specifics relating to your event.

We need parking for several vehicles – to be confirmed in booking process if necessary. If space is tight it is possible for us to unload and then move the vehicles, but dependant on the situation this can become very time consuming.

A sensible loading entry with doors close to the performance area would be great. If there are lots of stairs we’ll need a lift, or for some crew to be provided to help us load in.

We also require a hot meal for each band and crew member (or a supplement so we can arrange this ourselves), a soft drinks tab (at the minimum water), and a changing room.

THE VENUE WE’VE CHOSEN HAS A SOUND LIMITER, CAN YOU STILL PERFORM FOR US?

We can work with most sound limiters, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Please let us know the details of the noise restrictions and the venue when you book – we may well have played there before!

OUR CHOSEN VENUE DOESN’T HAVE A RAISED PERFORMANCE AREA, BUT WE WANT THE BAND TO BE SEEN. DO YOU BRING YOUR OWN STAGING?

We think we should be seen too! In lots of venues only the first couple of rows can actually see the band. If you’re planning a big event, obviously this is less than ideal! We can bring our own staging in to suit your event if necessary, let us know when you book if this is something you are interested in.

DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK FOR THE ACT?

Yes, we require one hot meal per band and crew member on your event. If you are not able to provide this, we will accept cash so we can source food ourselves. We also require adequate soft drinks (water’s fine!) for all personnel. All other conditions are clearly laid out in the contract when you book us.

WHERE CAN YOU PERFORM?
Worldwide! We are based in London, UK, but are available to travel anywhere in the world to make your event really stand apart from the others.

DO YOU REQUIRE PAYMENT IN ADVANCE?

Yes. We require a deposit of 30% to secure the booking, with the remaining balance paid no later than 14 days prior to the event.
