With professional lighting & a powerful sound system as standard, The Movement are all set to turn your event or party into an unforgettable one. Whether it’s a corporate event, a wedding, or a birthday; The Movement are ready to play for you!

The Movement’s musicians have performed in countless function bands on stages worldwide, plus TV appearances, tours, and session work for major music label artists. After countless gigs with different bands the lads decided to collate their musical skills and experience, and form one solid lineup to deliver powerful sets at every performance.

From their wealth of experience, The Movement know what songs work best live and which numbers will bring your guests to the dancefloor. What’s more, by carefully constructing setlists with numbers from different decades, we make sure that guests of all ages enjoy the performance.

Which lineup is right for you?

The biggest sound of The Movement comes in the form of the 5-piece band with the addition of their fantastic keyboard player. Delivering strings, brass, synths, pianos and more; this enhances the sound to provide further depth and punch to the music. This addition adds to any event large or small and delivers a powerful sound from five energetic musicians.

Our 4 piece band is the core of The Movement outfit. The 4 piece band consists of lead vocals (& guitar), lead guitar, bass guitar & drums. It’s the foolproof 4 piece rock and pop lineup that’s packed full of energy, vocal harmonies and feel good fun. Perfect for tighter budgets, and still guaranteed to pack out the dancefloor with feel good hits.

The Movement Dresscode

The Movement are used to playing at all manner of events and will always dress accordingly. As standard we’ll arrive in smart attire suitable for weddings. For more informal events we offer a relaxed look too as per our promo video, so you can book confidently knowing that we will be looking the part for your event.

Acoustic Set Available

Thinking of also hiring an acoustic band at your event to get things started? Our band members can perform as acoustic bands in line-ups ranging from acoustic duos to five piece bands. They all began their gigging careers as duos and acoustic bands so this is very comfortable territory for them and they always deliver another top-notch performance in these acoustic lineups.

As The Movement’s professional audio equipment will be heading to your venue for the full band, we can add on our acoustic line-ups to the schedule at a nice affordable bolt-on price. Perfect at the start of your event, over afternoon drinks, during a dinner or even within a wedding ceremony.

A day that works for you
The Movement are flexible in their setup and timings and the most popular set lengths booked as are follows:

  • 2 X 60 minute sets
  • 3 X 40 minute sets

If you’re after something a little different with set times - just let us know when you make your booking and we’ll talk through the options with you.

Song choice

The Movement draw on their experience to know which songs work best live for different events. Once your booking is confirmed we’ll ask you if our plan suits (eg for a wedding - we play feel good fun tracks for all ages to help brides and grooms celebrate their big days with big parties!). We know the tracks that will go down a storm. If you have a couple of favourites or so, then you can let us know what they are too. At the event itself, The Movement use their experience to create a slightly organic setlist so that if your guests are particularly enjoying a rock n roll number from the 50s for example, and its got the dancefloor heaving - we might play another one straight off to keep your guests on their feet. The Movement’ high level of skill and musicianship allows them to adapt setlists this way & this is one of many factors that has helped us build a solid reputation as a hard working party band.

Professional Sound and Visual Image
The Movement only perform with top of the line audio equipment & instruments. They perform with a leading 2000 watt active PA system by Electro-Voice. Brands of instruments and amplification used by The Movement are nothing but top level too and include Gibson, Fender, Faith, Tanglewood, Blackstar, Aguilar, Boss, Tama, Zildjian, Line-6 & TC-Electronics (& that’s just for starters). The band are also equipped with superb LED lighting that provides both the stage and dance floor with a brilliant array of colours for you and your guests to enjoy.
