Testimonials

I would not hesitate to recommend this band to anyone having a function. The organisation of booking is brilliant and Ben is so helpful. He responds to queries and keeps in regular contact. He is keen to tailor the tunes, length of sets etc, to your needs and is great through the whole process. He provided us with a play list to play when the band were on a break. The actual music played and the singing were superb. We could not be more happy with the outcome and several of our guests endorsed this view. The party was mixed age groups and the dance floor was full the whole time. Thanks to every member of this talented and fun band. Happy 2017 - Best wishes from All The Sharp family of Fleet.Kathryn Sharp (40th Wedding Anniversary/ NYE Party)

Without a doubt The Cranes made my birthday! Every single guest commented on how brilliant they were. From the moment of enquiring about booking to packing up on Saturday, the band were so lovely. Ben just understood exactly what I wanted and the fact that they learnt my favourite song and accommodated ten of us singing the chorus was just amazing! As was the gentle encouragement to get people up and dancing The selection of music (and the comfortable volume) was just perfect! All in all I cannot recommend The Cranes highly enough!Dee Coles (60th Birthday Party)

Thank you all so much! Everyone had a wonderful night, the music was fantastic. We will definitely be recommending you. The children just didn't stop dancing and kept asking when you were coming back between each set.Kelly & Rob (Wedding Celebration)

What to say.... Absolutely excelled! Brilliant, the best band we could have hired. Everyone danced all night long and said how good they were. The Cranes were outstanding, sound and professionalism was superb we cannot thank them enough. The communication beforehand was excellent, Ben always replied and fully listened to our needs, wants and music dislikes, which meant it was tailored to us and valued our wishes. They were flexible with the outline of their set up. Would recommend with no hesitation. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you guys and girl! XAnita & Chris (Wedding)

The Cranes were awesome. As well as the full band in the evening, they accommodated our request for live music outside during the drinks reception in the afternoon. Vikki's piano and vocals provided the perfect backdrop for the moment. All the guys are lovely people and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time time. Most importantly in the evening, they created an incredible atmosphere with every single pair of feet on the dance floor. It went off! They absolutely rocked it, can't recommend them highly enough. (PS. It's well worth the extra to get the sax player)David & Lauren (Wedding)

The Cranes were a fantastic choice for our wedding band. Booking them was super easy, they responded almost immediately and all we had to do was fill in a form. Ben always responded to questions via email quickly. They were very flexible and learned our wedding song which wasn't in their repertoire and they played it beautifully. Everyone at the wedding loved the music - The Cranes played classic and modern pop songs with a bit of a kick and they got everyone dancing. They looked professional on the day and really put on a performance! If you are thinking about hiring this band, stop thinking and start booking! You won't be disappointed!Riwa & Seb (Wedding)

The Cranes played at our summer camping festival for about 300 people. They were absolutely excellent - within moments of starting up, the whole place was dancing! These guys are great - fantastic vibe, great level of musicianship. I'd book them again tomorrow!Westpoint (Corporate event)

Ben, thank you so much for playing such fabulous music for us at our end of term staff party. We gave you the briefest description of what we wanted and you certainly delivered. Everyone enjoyed themselves those who love to dance and others who live to listen and watch. The range of songs were perfect for a mixed age group. You were so good that only half way through your first set I was told to re-book the band for our Christmas party. Thank you again, we will definitely see you all again!Hannah (Fernhill School, Hampshire)

How long does the band need to set up?
It does depend on the size the band and the amount of equipment being carried. However, a minimum of 60 minutes is often enough time.

How much space do you need on stage/in the performing area?
It does depend on the size of the band but if you were interested in booking the Quintet a minimum of 4m across (speaker to speaker) by 3.5m in depth (front to back of the stage) is ideal. However, if space is limited at your venue The Cranes will always do their best to adapt and make it work.

Can we choose the set list?

Their set is designed to take you and your guests on a musical journey and to suit a range of ages and preferences. However, they do want to ensure that your occasion/event feels personal to you. The Cranes will learn up to two songs of your choice (at no extra cost) and, if you have a perferred style/era, then they will happily tailor your set accordingly.

Yes, they do have PLI and they are covered for up to £10,000,000. They are also able to provide a risk assessment and the equipment is all PAT tested.
