Composed of some of London's most in-demand session musicians, Groovin' On Up has been burning up dance floors all over the UK since 2012. When not playing with Groovin' On Up, members can be found in a variety of West End Shows including The Book of Mormon, Dreamgirls, Hamilton, Motown, All or Nothing and they can be found touring with Coldplay, performing with Clean Bandit, The Vamps, Jorja Smith and many other top UK acts and performing at some of the UK's largest venues including KOKO, the 02, Camden Roundhouse and even Somerset house!
Groove On Up has already performed at some incredible venues including Knebworth House, Wentworth Golf Course, for the NHS and even for Tyrell's Crisps! With a wide range of styles covered, Groovin' On Ups main function band will cater for all, whether your taste is 60's rock and roll or the pop hits of today. Having an immense ability in a wide range of styles, the musicians of Groovin' On Up are capable of making any event a truly special occasion.

FAQ
How long do you take to set-up?60-90 minutes.
What time do you play?
Any time to suit you, standard prices are for 2 hours of live music, anytime between 7 pm and midnight.
How long do you play for?
We can perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets in the evening and also provide a pre-mixed disco (tailored to your tastes) before and after live sets, so your whole night of entertainment is covered in one booking. Our musicians can also perform up to 90 minutes of solo piano music or jazz trio/quartet as an add-on, which is perfect for during drinks or dinner.
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes – all included in the price.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes.
Will you perform our first dance?
Yes, as long as we have two weeks notice we will learn the first dance of your choice.
How much space do you require?
We have played in some very small spaces, but ideally a minimum of around 5m x 5m.
How much power do you require?
6 x 13 amp sockets are fine for our system.
Do I need to provide food/drinks?
Yes a hot meal need to be provided for each member of the band.
