8 Ball are Sussex's favourite Indie Rock / Pop wedding band for hire. Performing all of your favourite dance floor fillers, from the likes of The Beatles and The Killers, 8 Ball guarantee to make your wedding party one to remember!

8 Ball are a very experienced live band and regularly entertain at weddings in Sussex and surrounding areas. The band come fully self-contained with professional PA, lighting and a bespoke pre-mixed disco before and after live sets - so your whole night of entertainment is sorted in just one booking! On top of that, the band will even perform your choice of first dance!

If you're looking to extend the live music to cover your ceremony or drinks reception, 8 Ball offer a live lounge style acoustic set which can create the perfect atmosphere for the early part of the day.

We came across 8 ball randomly whilst trying to find a wedding band online. We listened to a couple of their tracks and it seemed to be the type of thing we wanted for our wedding. 8-Ball were fantastic and really helped make the occasion. As far as I am aware they arrived in a timely manner, set themselves up with a minimum of fuss, and were ready to play at the designated time. They didn't play some of the tunes from their repertoire that we had requested, but we think this is because they were judging the requirements of the room and what the occasion demanded. The dance floor was full so they obviously got this correct. All our guests commented that the band were excellent, including comments from guests who are themselves musical that the level of technical musicianship was very high, and that they made an excellent sound for a 4 piece band. Please pass on a massive thank you to 8-Ball. When we arrived at the pub the band were set up and ready to play. The acoustic set they played sounded so tight, that many of our guests didn't actually clock that it was being played live. They sounded excellent. FAQ

How long do you take to set-up?
60 minutes.

What time do you play?
Any time to suit you, standard prices are for 2 hours of live music, anytime between 7pm and midnight.

How long do you play for?
We can perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets in the evening and also provide a pre-mixed disco (tailored to your tastes) before and after live sets, so your whole night of entertainment is covered in one booking. We can also perform 1 x 60 miniute acoustic live lounge style set as an add-on, which is perfect for during drinks or dinner.

Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes – all included in the price.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes.

Will you perform our first dance?
Yes, as long as we have two weeks notice we will learn the first dance of your choice.

How much space do you require?
We have played in some very small spaces, but ideally a minimum of around 2.5m x 5m.

How much power do you require?
2 x 13 amp sockets is fine for our system.

Do I need to provide food/drinks?
Ideally soft drinks and a hot meal or buffet. But this is certainly not a deal breaker so if you can’t provide this, just let us know in advance and we’ll bring food & drink with us.
